1. All Homesafe doors are glazed with 4mm toughened
glass (BS6262) in relation to human impact. Laminated glass is available as
an option for high risk security or safety areas. We have developed an attractive
range of decorative glass options. Please refer to our main brochure for details.
2. A patented glazing system has been developed for the Homesafe door. A glass
unit can be fitted or replaced in seconds by removing a bead from the inside
with no special training and no need for replacement parts.
3. At the heart of every Homesafe door is a high density expanded polystyrene
core.
4. A high quality, laminated timber subframe has been chosen for its combination
of strength, workability and dimensional stability.
5. All Homesafe doors are faced with high impact thermoplastic skins. Whether
you choose simple white, a colour or a woodgrain foil, you need never worry
about painting again.
6. The unique 'Edge Guard' further enhances the appearance of the door leaf
and adds extra protection against damage.
Locks
and Hardware
All Homesafe doors have been engineered to operate with the latest high security
'multipoint' locks or the more traditional style rim latch and deadbolt. A
complete range of letterplates, knockers and additional security hardware
is detailed in the furniture options .

Hinges
Even with experienced surveyors and installers, sometimes a little adjustment
is necessary. The Homesafe hinge has been developed to allow a degree of adjustment
to ensure a perfect fit and perfect operation without the need to work on
the frame or door leaf. BACK

Thresholds / Sills
Frame options with Homesafe doors are either PVCu profile, vac-vac treated
softwood, hardwood or aluminium. Sill options include mobility, goalpost,
PVCu profile and hardwood. All options are illustrated in the accompanying

Door Frames
